Welcome to Year 5!

Year 5 is an exciting, enriching and memorable year full of challenge, creativity and adventure!

Together, we work hard to ensure every child feels supported, confident and ready to achieve their very best.

Our curriculum is packed with hands-on experiences that bring learning to life.

Year 5 pupils enjoy a range of exciting trips and enrichment opportunities, including:

A visit to the historic Tower of London, where we explore Britain’s fascinating past.
A full week at Whitgift School, taking part in specialist lessons and new challenges.
Science Day and Athletics Day at Oasis Academy Coulsdon, promoting teamwork, resilience and fun.
Our much-loved Sleep at School event — a brilliant opportunity to build independence and lasting memories.
A special visit from Palace for Life Foundation, including a tour of Selhurst Park.

Every experience is designed to develop collaboration, confidence and curiosity.

Each year, our Year 5 pupils take part in the incredible Young Voices concert at The O2.

Singing alongside thousands of children in one of the world’s most famous arenas is an unforgettable highlight of the year!

We encourage all pupils to discover new interests and develop their talents through our wide range of lunchtime and after-school clubs, including:
